The Interview Process
I will provide you with a list of questions to review and select from. This gives you the opportunity to think about your answers and to remember your stories. In a relaxed environment of your choice you will be guided through an interview from the pre selected questions. The videographer, using state- of-the-art digital equipment, records the interview. For an additional fee, the video can then be edited adding titles, photographs, music and other visuals. The resulting package is a custom DVD to be cherished! Multiple copies can be ordered.

The Soul Mate Interview
A happy couple inspires everyone! This is similar to The Life Story Interview but relates the journey of a couple. We film the couple together, and explore where they met, how they fell in love, how they raised their family and what their views on the world are.
Filming On the Town
This is a fun one. We follow an individual or couple out in the world and film them as they do things they love to do. We can go to a variety of places like parks, baseball games, grandchildren’s graduations and much more. Part of this package can be combined with one of the previous two packages.

My Weekend Adventure
Sierra Club Michigan Chapter Annual Retreat
Camp Miniwancha on Lake Michigan
New Era, Michigan
My Adventure
Day One: Watched an incredible sunset on Lake Michigan, star gazed and saw Saturn under a telescope with Bob Victor, Watched the Moon turn Red and fade into the horizon, Saw a Shooting Star and Slept in a Rustic Cabin...
Day Two: Swam in Lake Michigan, went to Lake Burt to Canoe and Kayak, tubed down a creek with friends, saw the Moon under a telescope and enjoyed the Sierra Club Auction and Keynote Speaker Anne Woiwode, Sierra Club Conservation Director, relaxed by the beach till dark....
Day Three: Sat in a Adirondack Chair under a White Pine Tree, drank coffee and day dreamed, filmed the wild pre-storm waves at Lake Michigan, Went to 2 Sierra Club workshops, had lunch with the group and ran through the woods during a wild rain storm.

So many exciting things
happened this summer! Beautiful weather, great
people, photo sessions, street photography, video projects and travel to
beautiful places.
I got to spend 10 days in Oregon traveling! I visited the Portland,
Oregon area and the Petra Productions series, Tree Hugger Travel filmed a
documentary about things to do in Hood River, The Columbia River Gorge area and
Portland. It’s was the first episode of Tree Hugger Travel filmed with DSLR technology. It
went great. The small size of the
equipment made traveling and filming much easier. Stay posted for more details on that project.

In late August I attended
the Sierra Club Michigan Weekend
I have such respect for the Sierra Club. It was both an
honor and a pleasure to make a documentary for them. It’s about The Sierra Club
Michigan Weekend, an annual retreat they host at Camp Miniwanca in New Era,
Michigan.
It’s a breathtaking location in Lower Michigan on Lake
Michigan. Sometimes called
Michigan’s West Coast. I believe
everyone should visit. The event offers lodging options ranging from cabins to
private rooms, food, environmental workshops, arts and crafts, hiking, boating,
tubing, and swimming. Do it all or
get lost in the woods and wander!
Follow in the tradition of John Muir and create your own tradition of
spending time in nature. Look into
attending a Sierra Club Retreat or Vacation! It feels great to support positive
groups like the Sierra Club that empower people to do good work.
In September I attended the Wheatland Music Festival in Remus, Michigan.
I went to the Wheatland
Music Festival for the first time and had a great adventure. Wheatland is an Annual Event in central
Michigan known for it’s great live music, traditional arts, informal jam
sessions and friendly people. I ran into Thor’s "Loki" at the festival. I'm not kidding! While taking photographs at
the event I captured Actor Tom Hiddleston's surprise performance with my Canon 70d. Tom performed with the great Rodney
Crowell. Rodney is a grammy winning musician and was once married to Roseanne Cash. Tom spent the weekend at the festival practicing with Rodney's band for his
upcoming role as Hank Williams. He
performed a couple of times. I
captured his last performance, which was also the last show of the festival,
and the crowd went wild! Nice job Tom!

This coming season I’m starting a new life history project, editing Tree Hugger Travel In Oregon and creating a photo exhibit. I have just been
asked to present on my artistic process in my hometown. I’ll have more information about that event soon.

Winter Solstice Ice Storm

Here is a set of pictures taken with my new Canon 70D with an EFS 18-135mm lens. I am very pleased with the camera so far. I'll post more tests and feedback about the camera body and picture quality as I continue to explore my new tool.
